Another of our group, Josh, doing me a solid and welding on one of the Puch seats www.treatland.tv sells. These seats have a large spring suspension and are comfortable as shit, but look mildly retarded jutting 14 feet up into the air as they come stock. That problem was solved by cutting the swingarm and spring off entirely and moving the tabs that hold the seat post clamp up toward the nose of the pan, so it would sit further back over the rear wheel in addition to the 3 or 4 inches of lowering. The seat has a ton of padding, so I doubt I will miss the extra cusion of the spring too terribly much.
We fabricated and stuck on a nice angled brace as well, to help me out in the not having my seat break off and dump me on the rear wheel department. Josh is a swell guy, and always willing to help out with stuff I can’t do in my garage and just stuff in general, and I’d probably link to his page or something if I knew how this shit works.
